Dunnage Airbags for Cargo Securing
Dunnage airbags play a crucial role in securing cargo during transport. These pneumatic cargo airbags help prevent shifting and ensure cargo stability. You can use them either independently or in combination with other securing elements, such as tie-down straps and anti-skid mats. Made from moisture-proof materials, the airbags are airtight and highly durable, making them perfect for various transport conditions.
These dunnage airbags come in different sizes, depending on the cargo dimensions. Each airbag has an air valve, allowing easy inflation using a compressor. Once inflated, the airbags fill the empty space between the cargo and the vehicle walls. As a result, the airbags tightly press against the cargo, preventing any movement and ensuring stability during transport. After use, the airbags quickly deflate, and, provided their surface remains intact, they can be reused. They can fill spaces from 100 mm to 600 mm, which makes them adaptable to various cargo sizes.
Types of Airbags:
- Level L1: Designed for trucks and containers to fill side voids. These are suitable for general cargo.
- Level L2: Perfect for trucks, containers, or ships. They can be installed vertically or horizontally and support loads up to 34,000 kg.
- Level L3 and L4: Primarily used in rail wagons, these airbags are ideal for cargo weights between 34,000 kg and 93,000 kg.
- Level L5: Made for extra-heavy cargo like paper rolls and metal rolls, typically used in rail wagons and ships, supporting cargo exceeding 93,000 kg.
